iOS 6.1 reportedly causing problems on the 3G and the battery Some iPhone users

A little more than two weeks after the release of iOS 6.1 by Apple, some iPhone users are reporting battery drain and overheating problems possibly related to the last update of Apple's operating system. In addition, Vodafone UK sent a warning to its users which advises owners of an iPhone 4S not upgrade to the latest version of iOS, as it affects performance negatively 3G.

It seems that iOS 6.1 is causing problems in the battery and in some iPhone 3G

While the scope of the problems reported by Vodafone 3G is unknown, there are several threads open in Apple Support Community regarding consumption of the battery and overheating problems, problems that seem to be affecting some iPhone models.

The Community Support forum talks about problems in battery drain and overheating after upgrading to iOS 6.1. However, reports are conflicting. An owner of the iPhone 5 said he saw a loss of battery overnight from 35%, while a user with an iPhone 3GS said that after the last update of Apple has increased the life of the battery.

In the note sent by Vodafone, the British company said that iOS 6.1 is causing intermittent problems with some models of iPhone 4S, making the device experiencing problems with 3G signal in making calls, sending text messages and access to network details. The telecom operator said that Apple is working on a solution, but says nothing more about the matter. Here's the note from Vodafone:

"Hi all,

We are aware of a problem caused by the Apple iPhone 4S that have been upgraded to iOS 6.1, which affects performance on 3G.

Some customers may occasionally experience difficulty connecting to the network to make and receive calls, send or receive text messages or accessing the internet. Apple is working on a solution to their software problem. These problems are intermittent connection.

While Apple investigations continue, we recommend that anyone who has not installed iOS 6.1 on your iPhone 4S still does not, at least until Apple has solved your problem. "

Clearly Vodafone removes all responsibility completely to give it to Apple. iOS 6.1 is released on 28 January with a lot of bug fixes and feature enhancements. It seems that not everything has been good.
