Changing the language of the labels Apple Application Maps

The bilingual, multilingual, global citizens, language students and even travelers will be happy to know that the labels that appear in the Apple Maps application can be adjusted to the local language. We can get very easily on any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Here's how to work it:

  • Go to Settings> Maps.
  • On the "Map Tags" off "Always in Spanish (or the language you have set)."
  • Exit Settings and launches the Maps application from Apple.

Returning to the Maps application will see the difference immediately if you are in a region where Spanish is not the primary language. In some places may not be very visible, but in countries that use different alphabets is where is most striking. Here, for example, the Tokyo Bay in Japan:

A great trick for people who travel a lot, as it may well be easier to compare travel guides or physical maps.
