Many times we fight with our smartphone keyboard by the imprecision of our finger when typing some text. Such keyboards are sometimes too small in relation to the user's fingers.

Sara Udina, an enterprising 35 and Catalan architect by profession, has a curious "gadget" that solves this problem: Freckle Digital (The Digital Peca). This accessory allows curious type quickly and accurately. It is a low cost computer and can be used several times.

It has two parts:

  • The pointer (freckle) silicone which allows interaction with the display accurately.
  • The clamping band made from a material which adapts to the skin so that the pointer will always remain in the same position.

The creator will present their idea at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, in which participates thank ACC1Ó Brokerage Event organized by the agency to support the competitiveness of the Generalitat. In the international fair in Brussels Innova last year was awarded the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) as best invention by a woman presented with a gold medal with distinction.

Although still a prototype is an interesting proposal, and shows that it is necessary to go abroad to find innovative ideas.

We'll see if we can have a look next week at MWC :) .
