A week ago we told you as you tell Siri indications using the new application is not native Google Maps application instead of iOS Maps 6, today we show you how to activate a hidden mode maps available in this new application from Google.

Apparently Google has wanted to keep an ace up its sleeve for a future update of the new Maps application for the iPhone, and also traffic, public transport and satellite mode also has an integrated survey mode, with which we can see all relief maps, topography (what you can see in the screenshot on the right). This mode is very useful for people who like hiking and mountain routes.

The famous jailbreak developer Ryan Petrich world has found hidden and thus created a modification available in Cydia that is able to display it as an option, the tweak is called Topography for Google Maps and is available only in their personal repository. Obviously you need to have the application not native Google Maps in iOS 6, so it's likely that this is another one of those changes that you should keep in your favorites to install once you see the jailbreak for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S with iOS 6.

You can download for free from Cydia, you'll find it in the repo http://rpetri.ch/repo/. You need to have done the jailbreak on your device.
