Seized fake connectors Lightning worth $ 635,000

The connector Lightning was one of the big surprises at the launch of the iPhone 5 back in September. This is a 9-pin connector that will be the standard for data transfer and charging Apple devices for years.

However, it appears that product counterfeiters are making a killing with copies of the connector. In fact, the national security agency of the United States has seized counterfeit Apple products (most new generation connectors), worth more than $ 635,000.

These operations have also led to arrests of those responsible. Most of these fakes you can imagine where they come from: Asian exporters, particularly China and other environment.
