The Untethered Jailbreak for iOS 6.1 almost certain to arrive on Sunday

The proposed date for the launch of the new Jailbreak was initially mocked for being held on Sunday the Super Bowl, the biggest sporting event in the United States. But all the images shown on the website of Evasi0n show the number 3 in the calendar application, much like Apple. So it is thought that Sunday is the day chosen 3.

The Jailbreak will not require more than five minutes to perform and you must connect the device to your Mac or PC once. The device must be installed at least iOS 6.0. The Evasi0n Jailbreak will support all models of iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, including the iPad Mini.

We have talked a lot on this Jailbreak. Since mid-September, even before being sold the iPhone 5, was already talking about the possibility of the iOS 6.0 Jailbreak. Moreover, the hacker chpwn even published a picture with Cydia installed on an iPhone 5 in late September. Since then, almost every month we talked about the Jailbreak of iOS 6, but never got to throw.

In December, a team that called Dream JB, announced with great fanfare that they would launch the Jailbreak for iOS 6 on 22 December. They even put up a video to show that it had. The next day it was known that he was a fake and that all he wanted was traffic to your site.

But in early January, we began to see a little light when Planetbeing, one of the most important hacker, announced that it was ready to Jailbreak iOS 6.0.2 , but we had to be patient because they would not make it available to the users before Apple released iOS 6.1, so try not to plug the security hole they had found.

This good news became even better when we learned that pod2g also was involved in the garlic, back in late January. And just a few days later we learned they were not alone and that many developers were working hard to realize the Jailbreak for iOS 6. And that Apple released iOS 6.1, giving way for the launch of Jailbreak.

So we just have to wait and see if, indeed, this Sunday we have new Jailbreak for iOS 6.1. Of course it will go in iPadizate counting.
