Perhaps, despite your interest in iOS world, you never change the terminal proposed doing a jailbreak to it, or because you like to have the latest software updates without having to wait for jailbreak out for it, by some fear of damaging the health of it or, by simple law. Today we present you a program that enables without jailbreak, we can change the name of the operator (Carrier) of the device, by another name, logo or both. The program in question is called Carrier Editor.

Before you speak to him, we have to say that the program is only supported for installation on computers running Mac OS X 10.7 or higher, and only works for iPhone or iPad with 3G/LTE service.

The first thing you have to do is download the software for MAC, from this link .

Then we leave you to follow the steps r to rename the carrier of your iPhone or iPad, first by an explanatory video that despite being in English, makes it quite clear the procedure and, second, by the steps Spanish for better understanding.

  1. Download the program file CarrierEditor.dmg. Click here.
  2. Start, and click on Let's Get Started.
  3. From your device, go to Settings - General - Info. This screen looks paragraph Operator and stores the version number (eg, 13.1). Then type the number in the Version Number of the Carrier program page called "Need Some Quick Info" and click Next.
  4. On the operator's information program, you'll see two dropdown boxes. In the first you must select the type of device. Remember that only works for iPhones and iPads 3G/LTE, so it will not work with models with WiFi only iPad or iPod Touch. On the second tab down, select the name of your operator. Click on Next.
  5. In the program's customization page, you will see two small fields, for the logo with white or black. There are different logos in the folder called ZeppelinLogos that comes in the downloadable file. Inside this folder, you find various sub-folders depending on the type of logo you want to use. Select the logo corresponding to each of the fields and click Compile Carrier Update (. IPCC).
  6. Once the logos are inserted, CarrierEditor saved to your desktop as your original and modified logo.
  7. Open iTunes, and make sure the device is connected to the computer. Within the summary tab of your device, press and hold the Option key on your keyboard and click Restore. Thus there should be a Finder window. Go through it to the Desktop folder (where the files are stored CarrierEditor created) and select the file. Ipcc modified (not the original), and select Open. Once done, it will be only restart the device and you should see the new operator logo changed.
  8. If you want to reverse the process and return to the original settings, repeat Step 7, but this time, select the. Ipcc original, restarting the terminal if there has been no change.

Although it may seem tough and difficult process, for nothing is. Anyway, since EsferaiPhone we advise you to see the video of the beginning of the entry before performing the procedure to get it right.
