Belkin presents the first official accessory connector compatible with Lightning

While some vendors and firms had begun to launch products using the connector unofficial Lightning-waiting for Apple to allow its use-, Belkin yesterday became the first official seller of accessories that use the new connector Lightning with the approval of the U.S. firm.

Items are presented Belkin car charger and a charging cradle with Sync Dock. You can book both accessories and will go on sale on November 15.

For one, the car charger , the 2'1 A Lightning includes a cable and an adapter for the car charging port. It is a reversible charger which facilitates the loading position in any position.

These are charger features :

  • It is very compact.
  • It is an improved version of the traditional Belkin car charger.
  • Plugs into any car outlet.
  • Charging 2.1A and has a power of 10 W.
  • Includes one Lightning reversible.
  • It has an LED that indicates the amount of charge the phone.
  • It is available in black.
  • It is compatible with the iPhone 5, the fourth-generation iPad, the iPad mini and iPod Touch.

Moreover, the charging base with Sync Dock includes a collapsible connection and an auxiliary audio to the speakers. Of course, unlike the car charger, the charging connector has no additional Lightning, so it should be used with the one provided by Apple.

These are your specs :

  • It comes with an aluminum finish.
  • Works with the cable provided by Apple Lightning (no additional one).
  • It has an auxiliary input for your speakers or headphones.
  • The magnetic base is removable.

Both have a starting price of $ 29.99 (a 23'50 €) and, as we say, still take a week at the market.
