Apple continues to dominate the mobile web traffic from 46% of total

Today we bring you a new chart of those that we like to analyze. This is a pie chart in sectors that shells where Internet traffic comes when accessed from smartphones. The source, as on other occasions, is the consultant Chitika.

Right now, Apple will be happy to know that their iPhone are responsible for almost half of web traffic (46%) generated from smartphones in the United States and Canada. As a result, it comes almost thirty points above Samsung, its largest competitor, which gets 17% of the pie.

The iPhone 5 , meanwhile, is responsible for 3% of the total. Think it's a device that does not have a month to live, and web traffic already exceeds the almighty Samsung Galaxy SIII. Funny how the other models and brands totaling just 37%, so it's pretty clear who the two main players right now in the world of smartphones.

Moreover, if we now look at the operating systems, the percentages are as follows. IOS accounts for 49% of web traffic, including iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. Meanwhile, Android collects only 48% of the total, despite having more than 50% of the smartphone market.

The logical conclusion here is: Apple is making more devices from which you access the Internet. The same applies to your operating system. This speaks to the good work of its interfaces and fluidity when browsing from Safari. And why not, the profile of users who buy an Apple device: usually more active on the Internet.
