Steve Jobs was an influential man think anyone can deny. Maybe the term "succeed in life" is something very different for that person as you say, but I think, be able to create a company with such success and over doing what you love most can be considered a success. And that's what Steve Jobs did with Apple. Her big ideas did to Apple what it is today, the world's largest company.

Steve Jobs said, repeatedly, that he considered that any company or product should meet 12 basic rules to succeed, in their opinion clear. First you leave a video reminding this genius, a video where he talks about these rules:

  • Be yourself and do what you like. If you are in a job you do not like insurance for you is a horror to go to work every day. If your work does not generate passion and enthusiasm you can never succeed.

  • Innova. Focus on innovation. Create important things. Use at least 50% of your time creating new things. Hire people who want to make the best products in the world. You need a product-oriented culture.
  • Learn from failure. Innovation sometimes involves errors. If so, that does not stop you, learn from them, and continues to improve admítelos your other innovations.
  • Keep learning. There is always something more to learn. Exchange ideas, both inside and outside the company. Learn from customers, competitors and partners. Learn to criticize your enemies openly.
